About the Journal

Advances in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Delivery (APSDD) is an English-language, peer-reviewed, open access journal owned and published by the Global Foundation for Education & Research (GFER), India. Published exclusively online, the journal serves pharmaceutical researchers, academics, pharmacists and other professionals working with medicines and drug delivery. It provides a forum for reporting research findings, examining evidence and discussing developments in pharmaceutical science.

APSDD follows a biannual publication schedule, with one volume containing two issues each year. Regular issues are scheduled for release on 30 June and 31 December.

Each article displays its actual online publication date, separately from the issue designation.

The journal considers original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, methods papers, short communications, pharmaceutical case reports, letters and editorials. Submissions are evaluated for scientific merit, relevance, methodological quality, clarity and compliance with ethical requirements.

The Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Nazrul Haq, Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Editor-in-Chief oversees scientific standards and editorial decisions, with support from the journal’s editors and reviewers.

Research and review manuscripts, methods papers, short communications and case reports undergo double-blind peer review, in which author identities are withheld from reviewers and reviewer identities are withheld from authors. Letters and editorials receive editorial assessment and may undergo external review where appropriate. Publication decisions remain independent of payment and the publisher’s commercial interests.

All published articles are freely accessible online immediately upon publication, without a subscription or reader registration. Authors retain copyright and publish under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). The licence permits sharing and adaptation, including commercial reuse, provided that appropriate credit is given, the licence is linked and any changes are indicated.

The journal’s publication activities are supported by article processing charges. Fee information is provided on the Article Processing Charges page. Published articles will receive Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through GFER’s DOI registration arrangements.
